There is a place for you in the music ministry of Cherry Road Baptist Church.
Adult Choir – Our adult choir is made up of 15-20 members. We rehearse every Sunday evening from 5:15-6:00. We sing in almost every Sunday morning worship service and frequently in the evening services. Twice a year we prepare cantatas which are then presented at our church facility as well as in various locations throughout the community. If you have a heart for bringing glory to God through music and enjoy the challenge of improving and honing your musical abilities, this ministry may be the place for you.
Cherry Jubilaires – Once a month our senior adults meet for a time of fellowship and good old-fashion singin’. We rehearse on the first Tuesday of every month (except June through August) and sing in the worship service on the following Sunday. If you’re “young at heart” and have a heart for Jesus, then be sure to join us.
Congregation – The most important and largest musical group in our church is the congregation! The Bible commands us to sing and make melody in our hearts to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19). Music is an integral part of all the corporate worship and prayer services here at Cherry Road Baptist Church. We sing hymns, psalms, and spiritual songs, both old and new, to the praise of our God. Come join us as we exalt the Lord and lift Him up as central and supreme in everything!
